I had high hopes for the food, but overall it was just "okay." I ordered from the set menu, but even with that in mind, I expected better. The goulash lacked depth of flavor, and the cauliflower soup tasted more like a bowl of fatty cream than a well-balanced dish. Service was another letdown — our waitress repeatedly tried to take our plates before we were finished, to the point where I had to ask, “Are we slow eaters?” It felt rushed and uncomfortable. While the decor is beautiful and the ambiance classy, the food quality didn’t match the high price point. I paid £13 for a dessert that honestly felt like something I could’ve picked up from M&S. Not worth the splurge.

We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant in vibrant Piccadilly and were lucky enough to grab a small window nook table without a reservation. The place was packed, which made service understandably a bit slow, but the atmosphere more than made up for it. I had a beer while my wife enjoyed a tea — both were great, but we definitely left wishing we’d stayed for a full dinner at a more spacious table. Lesson learned: next time, we’re booking ahead to fully enjoy the experience!

Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was excellent and we didn’t wait long at all for our food. And the food? Absolutely amazing! Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to return on our next visit — highly recommend for a true London dining experience!
