"Extremely Poor Service – Bus Didn’t Stop as Scheduled"

Even after confirming the stop the day before, the bus did not stop at Uvita. I was standing there 45 minutes early with two pieces of luggage, waving my hands and using my cellphone light to try to get the driver’s attention. Despite sending two emails, I still haven’t received any response regarding a refund. This is by far the worst service I’ve experienced. Save yourself the trouble and go with Tracopa instead!

"Good Driving, But Bus Amenities Need Improvement"

The positive aspects of the trip were that the drivers were very careful, and the co-driver was extremely friendly. However, many seats had non-functional screens, charging points, and passenger reading lights. It seems like this is an older bus previously used by TICS and is in need of upgrades or repairs. Improving these features is important for passenger safety and comfort. For long trips of 10–12 hours, especially at night, it would be great if the bus had reclining seats or a sleeping coach option. Thanks, Pura Vida

"Tracopa – Bus Missed Stop and Left Us Stranded"

We had a terrible experience with Tracopa. The bus driver completely missed our stop in Quepos and passed it, leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere. The staff seemed annoyed and blamed us for not informing the driver, even though the ticket clearly stated Quepos. To make matters worse, the bus Wi-Fi never worked, so we couldn’t call an Uber. We had to wait for another taxi or bus and ended up paying extra for transportation. This was extremely inconvenient and stressful – definitely not the service expected from Tracopa.

"Fast and Convenient, But Attendant Could Be Friendlier"

The service is fast and convenient, but the attendant could be more friendly and provide better guidance. During the mandatory stop (at least I was aware of it), passengers have about thirty minutes, which is enough to grab a snack or use the restroom—but don’t go too far, or you might be left behind. 😅

"Terrible Service – Unreliable and Late"

This was the worst travel experience ever. The buses are extremely late—if the schedule says 10:30 AM, they may pass your stop four hours later. There are no longer stops to eat in Santiago, so if you’re departing from Santiago de Veraguas, make sure to bring your own food. Absolutely the worst service! If you’re considering alternatives, I recommend flying with Wingo for better prices and reliability.

"Friendly Staff but Mechanical Issues"

The buses had some mechanical problems that negatively affected the trip. On the bright side, the customer service staff and bus drivers were excellent, always courteous and professional.

"Terrible Customer Service and Frustrating Experience"

My experience was terrible. The people who answer calls are unfriendly, which makes the ticket-purchasing process very frustrating. Unfortunately, since there is no competing company, passengers are forced to tolerate their poor responses despite paying for each ticket.
