"Great historic stay in CDMX"
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly located near the Zócalo. The rooftop pool was a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring the city. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a clean and well-maintained bathroom. The building itself is beautiful, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay. Special mention to Manuel and Larissa, who were professional, upbeat, and attentive during check-out. Overall, an excellent experience in a prime location.
"Best service in hotel"
The hotel staff were excellent— from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, we felt extremely well taken care of. Luis, Manuel, and Alberto were especially generous and kind, providing attentive service that made our experience truly memorable. The only downside was the rooftop restaurant. Both the food and service there were mediocre, creating a stark contrast to the otherwise exceptional hospitality throughout the hotel.
"A great stay and superb value for money"
This hotel is excellent, just steps from the main square and cathedral in the old center of Mexico City. The bedrooms are beautifully designed, featuring huge, comfortable king-size beds with fantastic feather pillows and cushions. The bathrooms are spacious, with superb showers. The common areas are stunning, capturing the charm of old Mexico with quirky lifts and rooms arranged around a central atrium. Food and drinks are well-priced and of great quality, with breakfasts being excellent and dinners truly special. The rooftop pool, while smaller than expected, offers a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were exceptional—always helpful, kind, and attentive. They regularly checked in to ensure our satisfaction and were responsive to special requests, making us feel right at home. Contrary to some reviews, we felt very safe in the area, which is lively but well-patrolled, and being so close to the city’s central attractions is a major advantage. Overall, this hotel offers superb value for money, with an ideal location, excellent service, and thoughtfully designed rooms. Highly recommended!
"Nice place and good service"
Overall, we had a good experience at the hotel. The service was friendly, and the facilities were comfortable and well-maintained. A few areas for improvement include enhancing cleanliness in the common areas and providing more water bottles for guests. Despite these minor issues, it was an enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of the historic district. The rooms were well-appointed, and the location is unbeatable—just a block from the main Zócalo, cathedral, and palace. The hotel’s concept is fun and unique, with turntables in some rooms and a vinyl library adding a special touch. The highlight of our stay was the staff, who were always friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. Mario, in particular, provided outstanding recommendations for sights, restaurants, and transportation, perfectly tailored to our needs. We would definitely stay here again.
"Good place excellent all the staff"
A very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly and attentive staff who make you feel comfortable at all times. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-appointed, featuring an excellent in-room tub. The location is superb, right in the heart of central Mexico, with divine views from the terrace. The only downside was that the bathrobes had visible stains and the towels were worn, which detracted slightly from an otherwise wonderful stay.
"Nice hotel but not amazing"
The hotel offers spacious, clean rooms and a fantastic location right in the heart of the action. The pool is enjoyable, and the doorman was especially friendly and helpful, adding a welcoming touch to our stay. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a special occasion. We were on our mini-moon and had hoped for a small gesture, like a complimentary drink, but the staff didn’t seem inclined to go above and beyond. Additionally, while the room doors are historically charming, they are very heavy and cumbersome, making them difficult to open. Overall, a solid stay with great location and comfort, but not ideal for celebratory trips.

As a Hilton Gold member, I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties worldwide. Based on the positive reviews, I chose this hotel for a business trip in Mexico. The service was good, and the rooms were very clean. However, it’s important to note that standard rooms do not have windows, which is not immediately clear from the website photos—only the suites have external windows. The pool and terrace are very small, and there are no lounge chairs in the sun, which may be a downside for those looking to relax outdoors. Overall, a clean and well-serviced hotel, but be aware of the room limitations before booking.
