"Hotel Umbrial Mexico City"
Our stay was very enjoyable overall. The only downside we noticed was that breakfast did not include any pastries or bread, which would have been a nice addition to the meal offerings.
"Nice hotel with good location."
The hotel is in a great location in the historic part of the city, with an original and charming design. The front desk staff were very nice, and the rooms were clean, though a bit worn in places and could benefit from renovation. Breakfast was acceptable but limited, with no egg dishes or sandwiches included. Dinner at Oliva, the same restaurant as breakfast, suffered from slow and inattentive service; the food was just okay. When given a breakfast pack for an early trip, it included a sandwich, apple, yogurt (without a spoon), and juice, which was not ideal. Overall, the hotel has potential but needs attention in service and amenities.
"Amazing staff, great location"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of Mexico City’s historic district. The rooms were well-appointed, and the hotel is just a block from the main Zócalo, cathedral, and palace. The concept is fun and unique, with turntables in some rooms and a vinyl library for guests to enjoy. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful staff, who were always friendly, available, and ready to assist with recommendations. Mario, in particular, was extremely helpful, providing excellent advice on sites to see, restaurants to try, and transportation planning that suited all our needs. We would gladly stay here again.

Good overall experience, friendly Service and comfortable facilities. It would only improve the cleanliness in common areas a little and it would be nice to have more water bottles available.
"A great stay and superb value for money"
This hotel is excellent, just steps away from the main square and cathedral in the old center of Mexico City. The bedrooms are beautifully designed, with huge and comfortable king-size beds, plush feather pillows, and spacious bathrooms with superb showers. The common areas are thoughtfully designed, reflecting the charm of old Mexico, with quirky lifts and many rooms arranged around a central atrium. Food and drinks are well priced and of high quality, with breakfast being excellent and dinners particularly memorable. While the rooftop pool is smaller than expected—a plunge pool rather than a full pool—it is a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They responded promptly to special requests and consistently checked in on our satisfaction, making us feel truly at home. Contrary to some reviews, we felt very safe around the hotel, with many police present both day and night. The location puts you within walking distance of all major central attractions, including the cathedral and the Aztec Museum, as well as numerous restaurants, giving a true sense of Mexico City’s vibrant culture. Overall, this was a fantastic stay with superb value for money, and I would highly recommend it.
"Good place excellent all the staff"
This is a very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly staff who are always ready to help, making you feel truly comfortable. The rooms are modern and spacious, featuring an excellent in-room tub and a terrace with divine views. The location in the heart of central Mexico City is superb. The only downside was that the bathrobes had visible stains and the towels appeared worn, which slightly detracted from an otherwise excellent stay.

"Good hotel but …"
As a Hilton Gold member, I’ve stayed at many Hiltons worldwide. During a business trip to Mexico, I chose this property based on its positive reviews. The service was good, and the rooms were very clean. However, it’s important to note that most rooms do not have windows—only the suites do—so the website photos can be misleading. Additionally, the pool and terrace are very small, with no lounge chairs in the sun, which may limit relaxation options.
