"Come back Michael J show."
We had a very good experience at the hotel, with staff who are always attentive and helpful. This year, unfortunately, the Michael Jackson show we loved as a family was not available, but we hope to enjoy it again on our next visit. The bike tours have improved significantly, and Tyler’s attention and care truly stood out!
"Great hotwl"
The service was really good, and the staff were very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The New Year’s show was incredible—definitely a highlight and highly recommended!
"More for what you pay!"
This hotel offers excellent care, with staff who are always attentive. The bar serves rich, delicious drinks, with exceptional service from Carmen, Don Toño, and Ramon. The facilities are well-maintained, rooms are very clean, and the beautifully kept exteriors are perfect for photos. The food is delicious, and considering the quality of service and amenities, this hotel provides the best value for your money in Puerto Vallarta.
"Attention in restaurant"
It’s my first day at the hotel, and Fernando’s service at the snack restaurant has been excellent. Despite the large number of guests, he has remained attentive and provided outstanding care throughout.
"Comment Tyler"
The service here is excellent, especially Tyler’s—friendly, charismatic, and incredibly attentive. His activities are top-notch, and in my experience, the kayak excursion he led was the absolute best! 👌👌
"Vamar Super Recommended!"
Everything was excellent! The service at the restaurants was very good, especially from the waiters Sebastian and Yami at Café Marina, who were extremely attentive and friendly. The hotel is very complete, and my family and I had a wonderful holiday. I definitely recommend it 100%!
"We were super tasteful"
This hotel offers outstanding value for money. Its location is perfect, with both a sea view and direct beach access. The staff are attentive, especially Fernanda, who provided exceptional service during breakfast and at the Mexican restaurant in the marina at night.
"Entertaining, not for rest"
The staff are truly what make this place stand out. Unfortunately, I didn’t rest well during my first night because my room was above the lobby and the music from nightly events was very loud. On the second night, I was moved to another room where I experienced small bugs that kept biting me. On a positive note, Tyler’s activities like kayaking and yoga, as well as Georgie’s bike ride, are excellent choices and highly recommended.
"Ocean gray"
Everything at the hotel was enjoyable, with very good food that we truly appreciated. The only downside was that room delivery wasn’t very timely, as it took longer than expected. Otherwise, everything else was great, and we would return!
"VAMAR does not let use facilities after 11 am"
The hotel itself is very nice and the food is delicious; however, I had two very negative experiences that affected our stay. The first occurred at the Magellan restaurant, where I went with my entire family. I asked the reception at least five times about the schedule and whether a reservation was required, and each time I was told it was not. When we arrived, we were denied entry due to a private event, leaving at least ten families waiting outside without any solution. The second unpleasant moment was during checkout. The receptionist, Angelina, was very rude and informed us that we could only wait in the lobby, as pool access was exclusive to current guests. I explained that our transportation was arriving at 4:00 p.m., but we were told that if we wanted to continue using the pools, we would need to pay 200 per hour per person 😡. Overall, the hotel is nice and the food is good, but these service issues leave much to be desired.
"Hotel with good atmosphere and rich buffet"
I really enjoyed the attitude of the lobby bar bartender, and the animators were very friendly and engaging. The drinks and snacks are delightful, adding to the overall charm. The only improvement I would suggest is updating the televisions, as they are old and don’t support Netflix, Spotify, or YouTube.
"Wheelchair accessibility"
The ramp from the lobby to the pool area is very steep and requires assistance, and access to the coffee area is also limited, making it necessary to ask for help. The wheelchair-accessible rooms are very basic but functional; however, they do not have a balcony. That said, the staff were very helpful, and even other guests were kind enough to lend a hand whenever needed. The food was average, around a 2 or 3 out of 5, but I appreciated that the hotel was not overly crowded and offered a calm, relaxed atmosphere.
"Good service"
The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The only drawback is that the smoking area is quite far and access is somewhat limited. For my first visit, however, I absolutely loved the experience!
"They served us in two restaurants and were very friendly"
We were served by Alberto, Ricardo, and Yami at two of the restaurants at the Vamar Hotel. They were very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service, making our dining experience very pleasant.
"Good hotel and friendly staff."
This large hotel offers breathtaking sea and marina views. It features three pool areas—one overlooking the sea, one exclusive for adults, and one for children, with warm water and inflatables available for the little ones. Only one specialty restaurant can be booked per stay, but the à la carte breakfast is highly recommended and can be enjoyed throughout your visit—it’s absolutely delicious! The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Service from Mario and Victor was excellent, always attentive and friendly. The only downside was that bottled water is provided just once, which could be improved. Overall, a fantastic experience!
