"Cover charge in this restaurant"
The food and service were good and comparable to other restaurants in the same neighborhood. However, unlike the others, this restaurant charged a €4 cover fee for the two of us. If not for the cover charge, we would have happily given five stars.
"Nice staff, the food was not"
The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely, making for an enjoyable setting. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience. My wife ordered a plate of mixed meat with sauce, which turned out to be just oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and some very dry vegetable sticks. The meat itself was dry and unremarkable, which was a letdown. However, the waitstaff redeemed the experience by bringing a complimentary cake with candles and singing for my wife’s birthday—a really sweet gesture that earned an extra star!
"Ibra"
We were invited by a friend who works at this restaurant, and what started as a simple visit turned into a lovely discovery. The place is very cozy and elegant, with excellent cuisine and equally warm, friendly service. The dishes are beautifully presented, thoughtfully decorated, and feature well-balanced flavors—something not always easy to find in restaurants located in the city center. I’m giving four stars only because, while dining outside, we were frequently interrupted by street vendors selling bracelets, which slightly disrupted the experience. Aside from that, everything was great. Definitely recommended—give it a try!
"Skip if you have a better option."
We visited with a group of friends and occupied two tables. Unfortunately, the timing was off—our table, which ordered second, received their food first and finished eating well before the other table even got their dishes.
"Lovely restaurant if you want to experience authentic Italian food"
The menu offers a good variety, and the atmosphere inside is warm and inviting. The staff were polite and friendly, and we appreciated that they thoughtfully placed our shared appetizer in the center of the table without being asked. Our main courses were very good and prepared exactly as they should be, followed by desserts that were equally enjoyable. The bill was about average for the area, and we left feeling satisfied and full.
"An excellent restaurant in the Monti area in Rome"
During our Christmas visit to Rome, we had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Wattani four times. Each visit was an outstanding experience—the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The menus were both delicious and elegantly presented, and the accompanying wines were superb. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!
"To have fun"
A chic establishment with a welcoming atmosphere, elegant setting, and impeccable service. The cuisine is hearty and satisfying, complemented by good wine. The only puzzling element for me was the constant display of gospel verses scrolling on a large television screen, which felt a bit out of place in an otherwise refined dining experience.
"Utterly no service at all"
Our first visit here was underwhelming. Despite being the very first customers of the day, there was virtually no service. Prices were also on the high side—bread had to be paid for separately, and our bill for three people came to €106, which felt excessive.
"Fancy italian experience"
This is a fancy Italian restaurant with a stylish atmosphere. We started with a cold platter and focaccia on the side, which was an excellent appetizer and set high expectations for the main courses. The chicken with potatoes was very good, but unfortunately the pasta was a bit bland—something disappointing for a restaurant that is both upscale and pricey. The waiter from Peru was excellent and truly stood out for his service, while some of the other staff could improve their manners. Overall, it’s a fashionable and expensive place that is still worth a visit, though there’s room for improvement. Note that there is a €2 service charge per person.
"Prettier than good"
The restaurant itself is very nice, but the food fell short of expectations. At €225 for the meal, it felt like poor value for an ordinary dining experience.
