"Terrible Service and Unprofessional Conduct"

I purchased three tickets for myself, my wife, and my five-year-old son at Barra Funda bus station on July 19, 2025, for a trip to Araçariguama, including a return to São Paulo on July 20 at 5:40 PM. We arrived at the first stop in Araçariguama at 5:30 PM, but the bus only came around 6 PM. When we tried to board, the driver claimed the bus was full and did not stop, despite our pre-purchased tickets. I immediately contacted Customer Service to seek guidance and file a complaint. Mayara, the attendant, said all she could do was open a ticket for investigation. When I requested to speak with her supervisor, she abruptly hung up the phone. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.

"Poor Customer Service"

The company lacks proper customer service, making it frustrating and difficult to get help when needed.

"Filthy Bus and Horrible Experience"

The bus was dirty, and the bathroom was absolutely filthy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous trip. Nearing Santos, São Paulo, the bus stopped unexpectedly, forcing us to get off and find an Uber. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I much prefer traveling with Gontijo.

"Terrible Customer Service at Via Maria"

Extremely frustrating experience trying to reach someone at the Via Maria garage in São Paulo. I’ve been on hold for about 30 minutes, and no one answers the phone. Very poor customer service.

"Uncomfortable and Stressful Ride"

The seats were very uncomfortable, and the seat belts added to the stress of the journey. I do not recommend this service.

"Terrible Customer Service and Dysfunctional Website"

Cometa Bus Company provides extremely poor customer service. Their website doesn’t work and shows errors during payment attempts. Despite reporting the issue and contacting them, nothing was resolved. Calling the company’s call center and selecting the TICKET SALES extension results in an operator saying they cannot sell tickets over the phone. Clearly, this is a company that does not value its customers. I do not recommend their service, and competitors surely benefit from their poor performance.
