"Grat and pleasent stay in Siem Reap"

We had a wonderful experience at Viroth. The staff were perfect—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The location of the hotel is also ideal. Thank you for a great stay in Siem Reap!

"Excellent and friendly staff"

We experienced excellent, personalized service during our stay. Rooms and dining areas were very clean, and although renovation work was ongoing, it caused minimal inconvenience. The staff went above and beyond, even arranging local tours with a driver, which we were very satisfied with. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, but overall, a wonderful stay.

"6 star hotel"

I initially booked Viroth’s Villa, but due to emergency maintenance, I was moved to Viroth’s Hotel instead—and I couldn’t have been happier. The staff here are truly incredible. Although the hotel has no elevator, its vintage charm more than makes up for it, complete with a collection of beautiful classic cars. From the moment I arrived, Saiyon, Thanit, Brass, and the rest of the team made me feel at home. They greeted me warmly, remembered my name throughout my stay, and even went above and beyond when I needed compression socks for my long flight back to the US—Brass personally helped me find a store that sold them. I was treated to a complimentary pick-up in one of their vintage cars, which was such a memorable touch. The à la carte breakfast was excellent, and they even prepared a picnic-style breakfast for my early morning visit to Angkor Wat. I also had the chance to enjoy the saltwater pool, which was sparkling clean with the perfect water temperature. The room itself was spotless, artistic, and very comfortable. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Siem Reap.

"Family Holiday on Tour of Vietnam and Cambodia"

Lovely hotel with helpful staff and thoughtful touches that make a stay special — lemon-scented cold towels, a vintage car transfer to the airport, good local advice, and a great location within walking distance to everything. We stayed at several boutique hotels on our Cambodia/Vietnam trip, and this one came very close to being our favorite. That said, some areas could be more polished: food and coffee at breakfast were average, and pre-dinner cocktails felt ordinary. Perhaps our expectations were high, but with such a beautiful look, heritage, and DNA, we feel the delivery of these features could better match the overall experience.

"The best hotel"

This is an amazing hotel that we return to again and again. The staff are simply the best—always welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is very stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located in the Wat Bo area, making it easy to walk to many great restaurants and bars. The pool is lovely, the restaurant area is great, and the spa is excellent as well. Everything about this place makes it the perfect choice in Siem Reap.

"a good stay"

The hotel is in an excellent location, with plenty of good food and drink options nearby, and the staff are extremely kind and friendly. They picked my friend and me up from the airport in a beautiful vintage car from the 1960s, and even prepared a lovely picnic for us to take on our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat — such thoughtful touches made the stay memorable. We stayed in a double room, though the bed was surprisingly small — closer in size to a massage bed than a twin, so something to keep in mind if you’re taller or larger than average. The AC didn’t work very well, though it wasn’t a major issue for us. One disappointment was with the postcards: we entrusted the front desk with postcards for family and friends, along with cash for postage and tips, but unfortunately, they never arrived (while our postcards from Thailand reached home on time). Overall, a charming hotel with wonderful service, but with a few details to be aware of before booking.

"The best hospitality"

From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. What made it even more special was the kindness of the staff—they surprised me with cake for my birthday and warmly wished me a happy birthday every time they saw me. Their care and smiles truly made my stay unforgettable. When I return to Siem Reap, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

"A beautiful haven in the centre of Siem Reap!"

The hotel offers a clean, green, and charming environment with very friendly and hospitable staff. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, and the airport transfer in a vintage car is a wonderful highlight. Thoughtful details such as insect repellent before heading out and refreshing cold towels upon return add to the experience. The location is also excellent for exploring Siem Reap. However, there are some downsides. The hotel has no lifts, which may be inconvenient for some guests. The pool is quite cold, and at night, a nearby nightclub pumps loud music that can be heard even with doors and curtains shut. Additionally, there was a consistent eggy smell on the plates in the restaurant, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant dining experience.

"Viroth’s is just a dream."

Viroth’s is simply flawless. From the warm welcome to the smallest room details, everything reflects care and sophistication. The architecture blends elegant retro charm with modern touches, while the lush tropical garden around the pool creates a true oasis of calm. The restaurant is another highlight—delicious, beautifully presented dishes made with fresh ingredients. The staff are attentive and discreet, always ready with helpful recommendations for tours or transportation. Staying here is not just accommodation; it’s a complete and memorable experience in Siem Reap.

"Good value for money option"

We had a very pleasant stay at Viroth’s and used it as our hub for visiting the Angkor temples. The staff and service were truly outstanding—every time we entered or left the property, we were greeted with thoughtful touches like a cold towel, an umbrella when it rained, or mosquito repellent for evenings out. Breakfast was excellent, and the central location made it easy to walk to Pub Street and most restaurants, while the Angkor complex was only about a 15-minute drive away. Organizing tours through the hotel was seamless and efficient—perhaps pricier than arranging them outside, but the convenience made it worthwhile. The rooms were clean, cozy, and functional. On the downside, the set dinner included in our package was disappointing, with limited options and small portions. Also, while the hotel is stylish, the number of guests it caters to sometimes makes it feel more like a business hotel than an intimate boutique stay.

Viroth’s Hotel

A chic and stylish boutique hotel with retro-inspired design and lush gardens. It’s consistently praised for its attention to detail and outstanding service.
