"Nice and chic living in Rome"

This hotel is a super stylish and elegant property, housed in two former palazzi in a quiet area of Rome. Each room is tastefully decorated, making it a real pleasure to stay in. The upper part of the Spanish Steps is just an 8-minute walk away, making it convenient for exploring the city. We stayed in a "Fabulous Twin" of about 28 sqm. While the two very large—and as always with Marriott, very comfortable—beds made the room feel a bit small, the bathroom was excellent, equipped with everything you could wish for. One minor suggestion would be to add a second hanger for the bathrobe. The air conditioning was easy to operate and pleasantly quiet, but the lighting in the room was inadequate; reading in bed was difficult due to the lack of a proper reading light. Breakfast at the "Giano" offered both a buffet and à la carte options, all of very good quality. In fine weather, it’s delightful to enjoy breakfast in the charming courtyard. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, with the exception of the receptionist at check-in. Despite registering an early arrival, when we arrived at 11:30 am, we were told that the room was vacant but not yet ready. We ended up waiting 3.5 hours, which was frustrating as platinum members. When I raised the issue, the receptionist blamed housekeeping and didn’t offer any guidance or estimated waiting time, which was disappointing. On the day of our departure, a staff member did apologize for the inconvenience, though it was too late to improve our experience. Hopefully, future guests may benefit from this gesture. Overall, it’s a very comfortable and stylish hotel with excellent rooms and breakfast, though early check-in and attentive service could be improved.

"A Fabulous hotel in Central Rome!"

We stayed at this amazing hotel in Rome for one night and had such a wonderful experience that we will definitely return! Our room was beautiful, featuring a balcony overlooking the internal courtyard. The décor was uniquely Italian, charming, and stylish—truly one-of-a-kind. The hotel’s location is excellent, close to Via Veneto and within walking distance of the Spanish Steps. Breakfast was fabulous, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made our stay even more enjoyable. A truly memorable experience!

"Very nice trendy hotel"

This is a very nice, centrally located hotel near the Spanish Steps, making it ideal for sightseeing. Our room was lovely, and the service throughout our stay was good. We enjoyed pizza at the rooftop restaurant—it was delicious and offered a lovely, atmospheric setting. I rated this hotel 4 instead of 5 stars due to a few minor issues: the breakfast lacked Greek yogurt or a plain yogurt alternative, there was no ordinary butter, and the fruit was rather tasteless. Additionally, dirty wine glasses were left in our room for 24 hours. Despite these small drawbacks, I would still recommend this hotel for its central location, comfortable rooms, and rooftop dining experience.

"Great staff and lovely hotel"

I was initially hesitant to book a W hotel, as I usually find them a bit over-the-top and impersonal—but this one is different. Located in a quiet area about a 10-minute walk from the Spanish Steps, it offers a more intimate, boutique experience. Our room was on the smaller side (the balcony is more of a ledge), but the bathroom was a decent size, the bed was comfortable, and the room included all the amenities we needed, including a clothes steamer and an Illy espresso maker. The breakfast area is beautiful, offering both a buffet and an à la carte menu. At night, the bar is lively with a DJ creating a fun atmosphere. The staff were all wonderful, attentive, and happy to assist. If you enjoy staying in a boutique hotel with a personal touch, I would highly recommend the W Rome.

"W Roma"

The staff at this hotel were very nice, helpful, and friendly—Alessia at reception was especially welcoming. The location is great and convenient for exploring the historical sites of the city. While the hotel is modern and stylish, some bathroom designs could be more practical. Sinks could be deeper to allow washing larger hands comfortably, and coat hangers should be sturdy enough to hold towels without them slipping onto the floor. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with excellent staff and a prime location, though minor improvements in bathroom functionality would enhance the experience.

"Top of the range"

This is one of the rare hotels where the staff—from reception to table service—are genuinely kind, affable, and always smiling. Such warmth is not so common, even in high-end hotels. The drinks are highly recommended, and every visit here is always a pleasure.

"Great Hotel!"

Great hotel in a wonderful area, just a ten-minute walk from the Spanish Steps and nearby luxury shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel bar and restaurant during our stay, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always available to assist. The hotel was quiet, allowing for restful nights throughout our stay. The Giano restaurant at the hotel was a highlight—fantastic food, impeccable service, and conveniently located just downstairs. The detox juices were addictive! The hotel itself was clean, with a classy atmosphere, and our room featured a charming little balcony. Transportation was easy, with taxis readily available, and we had fun exploring the city using electric Lime scooters. The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. On the downside, our bathroom door did not close from the inside, lacking a proper handle, and the room was quite small with limited storage—only a closet and no dresser for clothes. We also enjoyed exploring nearby restaurants: CiPASSO was delicious for dinner, Poldo Paneria League served the best sandwiches we’ve ever had, Giano at the hotel offered great food and desserts, and La Norcineria in Trastevere had amazing authentic sandwiches.

"World Class Property and Staff"

We always choose the W Rome whenever we visit from Umbria, and it never disappoints. The property, staff, food, and bar service are all world-class. The team consistently goes above and beyond to make our stay special—whether it’s the guest experience manager, Raffaella, or Alessio at the front desk, who always goes out of his way for us. We highly recommend this hotel, whether for business or pleasure.

"Quirky, but nice hotel"

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Rome, and we found the hotel very conveniently located, with two metro stations within walking distance. The rooms are quirky and interesting, offering a unique charm, and our separate shower and toilet were a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, making for a restful stay. The staff were wonderful—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was enjoyable, though a little slow at times. Drinks at the bar were on the expensive side, but the excellent service from the staff made up for it. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a great location.

"Overnight stay"

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff and service were first class, and the overall vibe exceeded our expectations. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was a bit disjointed, and the buffet options were somewhat limited, but this did not detract from our overall experience. We will definitely stay here again and would absolutely recommend it.
