"Great beach tavern"
A great casual beachside seafood tavern with very fresh oysters (though a few shells slipped into the shucking), tasty anchovies, and flavorful tuna tartare. The grilled sea bass was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxed—a perfect spot for seafood lovers.
"Paella awful!"
The restaurant boasts a fantastic location, with tables facing the sea—truly lovely. We came with high expectations for the paella and also ordered fish, but sadly the fish was overly salty and lacked flavor. On the upside, the bravas potatoes were exceptional—the best I’ve had in Spain. A shame about the fish, but the potatoes alone are worth a try.

We visited based on recommendations, and the food was indeed tasty. Overall, I’d recommend the restaurant, especially as the staff handled a tricky situation well. There were some mix-ups—our seafood pasta came with rice instead, and part of another dish didn’t match our order. The waiter confirmed it was a mistake, and we were not charged for the extra items. While the staff remained polite and professional, such confusion shouldn’t happen with only about 10 tables occupied and 5 waiters on duty. Despite this, the restaurant is worth a visit.

I had lunch with my family at this restaurant on a Saturday. The paella was good—tasty, though not unforgettable. A negative point: although they knew the paella would take time to cook, when we politely asked for an estimated wait because we had a scheduled visit, the response was grumpy and unhelpful. Overall, it’s a good place to eat, but it feels quite touristy.

This restaurant offers a wonderful experience for anyone looking to enjoy the beach while savoring delicious Mediterranean cuisine. My family and I shared the paella and black rice, both of which were excellent. The croquettes and Andalusian calamari were also very tasty and highly recommended. The dessert selection is varied—they initially show you the options, though we were surprised with a cheesecake topped with red fruit syrup that we hadn’t ordered. Aside from that small mix-up, everything else was perfect.

This chiringuito benefits from some fame, but in reality, it’s just another spot along the boardwalk. The paellas are quite ordinary, and the prices are on the expensive side.

This is one of the best places in Barcelona to enjoy fresh fish and outstanding paella. Dining by the sea, served by professional staff in a lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere, makes for an exciting and memorable experience. Highly recommended for everyone!
"Fine cooking, loose service"
The food is well-cooked, and the desserts are enjoyable. Service is professional, and the roadside bar setting works. However, the experience doesn’t justify the price—€48–50 per person feels too high for what’s offered.

Very disappointing experience. The food was poorly cooked, especially the fried dishes, and the service was very poor. We paid a lot for a meal that did not meet expectations.

A beautiful location by the sea at Playa de Bogatell, offering authentic flavors and beautifully executed dishes. The team is extraordinary—friendly, attentive, and mindful of every detail. We felt completely at home and will definitely return on our next trip to Barcelona. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
