"Tasty Brunch with a Few Drawbacks"

The fish tanks were a lovely visual touch and added to the ambiance. I opted for the weekend brunch menu at £45 per person, but was seated downstairs near the bar—a cramped area with no natural light and very limited legroom. It didn’t feel as comfortable or spacious as the upstairs seating with daylight. The service felt a bit intense. While the bottomless dim sum was a fun concept, being given the same explanation about the same three items every time they were reordered became repetitive. On the plus side, we were never rushed, which was appreciated. Food-wise, the truffle dumpling stood out—flavorful and fresh. The prawns and scallops main was another highlight, and the chilli oil dipping sauce was excellent. The biggest letdown was the dessert. The "pancakes" were dry and uninspired, more like dense sponge cake rounds than the fluffy Japanese souffle-style I had hoped for. Overall, it was a decent brunch with some tasty elements, though the seating and dessert left room for improvement.

"Decent Experience, But Falls Short of Expectations"

We tried the Spirit Set Menu and found the dim sum and drinks to be of good quality — a solid 4/5. The standout for us was the Szechuan margarita, which offered a great balance of flavor and kick. The mains were decent, but underwhelming overall. While the fish was fresh and well-prepared, the chicken was overly salty, bringing our rating for the main course down to about a 3/5. What stood out as particularly disappointing was the signature dessert. Surprisingly Western in style, it seemed outsourced and didn’t impress — a 2/5 at best. For a restaurant of this calibre and price point, we expected something more thoughtful and in line with the overall theme. Service was faultless — attentive and professional throughout — but overall, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype or the cost.

"Delicious Food, Incredible Cocktails & Great Vibes"

The food here is genuinely delicious, and the cocktails are probably my favorite in all of London so far — truly impressive. The basement interior is surprisingly spacious and has a great vibe that sets the tone for an enjoyable experience. This spot is perfect for a variety of occasions — whether it’s a corporate meeting, date night, a special celebration, or just a fun evening out with friends. The atmosphere strikes the right balance between stylish and comfortable. And whatever you do, don’t miss out on the dim sum — it's a highlight not to be skipped!

"Creative Flavors but Room for Improvement"

The food was enjoyable and carried a subtle innovative twist that made it stand out. I particularly liked the sparkling jasmine tea — a refreshing and unique touch that added something special to the meal. The service was friendly, though coordination could use improvement. For instance, we were asked if we wanted prawn crackers in a way that made them seem complimentary, which was a bit misleading — though perhaps that was just my impression. The ambiance felt lively but tipped into noisy when the restaurant filled up, making conversation a bit difficult. Overall, it's a decent spot with some highlights, though there's room for a smoother experience.

"A Return Visit That Didn’t Disappoint"

This was our second time dining here and it was absolutely exquisite! We highly recommend the cocktail Taste of Negroni — a real standout. 🍹 The food and wine were both excellent, making for a truly memorable evening. Service was superb throughout, attentive and polished. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip to London!

"Mixed Experience – Great Food but Lacking the Michelin Touch"

We were not treated particularly well upon arrival. Despite having a reservation, we were led to a cramped, dimly lit table downstairs between two families—even though many nicer tables upstairs were empty. After requesting a change, we were thankfully moved to a much more comfortable and brighter spot upstairs, which made a big difference. Our waitress was lovely—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared for our experience. The food was enjoyable. I especially liked the Singapore noodles and the dim sum. The flower tea was pleasant, though quite subtle in flavor. While we might consider returning, it’s worth noting that the Michelin star is no longer valid, as the award-winning chef left back in 2019. Given that, one might question whether the pricing still matches the experience.
